After a day’s work, cooking dinner for the family and other general day to day chores that are typical of the life of most adults with a modicum of responsibility, I like to take a moment or two to offer an alternative view of the schmaltz laden, sugary sweet, heart splattered, angst ridden, over emotional bunkum, presented in picture form with only a short amount of text, lest the reader’s attention span be not quite long enough to reach the end, that is apparently the vogue.
I was hoping to find informed opinions, compelling arguments, exegeses (look it up if you need to) on modern prose, and all manner of other intelligent and erudite commentary on tumblr. Sadly, it seems to be almost exclusively the domain of the sort of sappy saccharine that you seem happy to popularize through reblogging because clearly you think it has some relevance and meaning.
Egotistical? Probably
Time wasting? Probably
Enjoyable? Fuck yeah
